Swertia Extract Swertiamarin is a naturally occurring secoiridoid glycoside extracted primarily from plants in the Gentianaceae family, such as Swertia Bimaculata, Swertia chirata and Swertia japonica. Widely researched for its diverse bioactive properties, it is utilized in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals. Swertia is a genus in the gentian family. Swertiamarin is used as an active ingredient derived from Swertiapatens (Swertia davida or Swertia bimaculata, Swertia japonica).
